HISTORIC MANSION RENOVATION

EP Engineering is providing HVAC design services for a new 10,000 square foot historic mansion located at 240 Gin Lane in Southampton, NY. The interior of the building is being gutted for all new mechanical systems while the architectural details are being preserved. The renovation will consist of a library, billiards room, multiple family and dining rooms and a gymnasium in addition to multiple sleeping areas for staff and guests. This is a challenging project which calls for tight space constraints for mechanical systems due to existing architectural ceiling details that must be preserved. Multiple split systems will be used for cooling while radiant floor systems are being designed for heating. The project is scheduled to start construction in Summer 2008.
